We offer a variety of classes for beginner yogis to those more advanced. From Restorative to Vinyasa, our goal is to provide a welcoming environment to help you expand your practice
and discover the many approaches to yoga.
Beginner Yoga Series
New to Yoga? Or maybe you've been practicing for a while and want to gain a deeper understanding of what you're practising. This yoga series progresses from week to week to build a solid understanding and develop a strong foundation in yoga. In a small group setting, learn and practise classical hatha yoga and understand the benefits of each pose and learn more about relaxation and breathing techniques. Learn how yoga can bring more peace and joy to support the other areas of your life.

Bones and Balance
Bones and Balance is designed to support your bones by blending muscular balance, strength, flexibility and mobility in a gentle fitness format. With guided mind-body connection, this program will improve overall health through physical and mental focus, utilizing principals of Pilates, yoga and fitness.
This class is on Tuesday's at 10:30-11:30 am.
Taught by Toni Blay, this is suitable for all levels but is designed with older adults and those with limited mobility in mind. Chairs may be utilized.
Boys Youth Cross Training
This cross-training class focuses mainly on strengthening the body and practicing mindfulness. The first part of the class will be TRX. TRX is a suspension system that uses a person's own body weight to build lean muscle and core strength which compliments sports and all kinds of physical activities. It removes the hazards of lifting free weights that can have negative impacts on young bodies still developing. The next part of the class focuses on stretching and flexibility, and mindfulness to learn the ability to do be calm and focused when required to do so.
This class is on Monday's at 4:00-5:00 pm, for boys ages 13-16, although some other ages may be considered.

Candlelight Restorative, Gentle Yoga
With the aid of soft music, candlelight, bolsters, and blankets this practice guides you to slow down, calm your mind and reconnect with your body and breath. The teacher is attentive to individual needs and offers modifications to enhance each students unique practice. Melting into deep relaxation with the use of props your body will open slowly and naturally without effort leaving you refreshed and balanced. Tuesday's from 7:30-8:45 pm.
Taught by Sara Glencross, this class is suitable for all levels.
Girls Youth Yoga - Strong Bodies. Strong Minds.
Youth years are some of the best in our lives and yet our youth today are faced with a lot of pressures from all angles of life. Balancing the stresses of school, a social life, peer pressures, and other daily demands can be very challenging - sometimes leading to increased stress, anxiety, and concentration issues. Yoga is a healthy way to work out these pressures.
Yoga helps to build self-esteem while teaching methods of self-calming. It helps to focus the mind, increasing the ability to concentrate. Moving mindfully with the breath and tuning into body awareness can build confidence and self-esteem. In learning to relax, young people gain more space in their heads, the more they relax the easier it is to let go of problems. The calming effect of Yoga is hugely beneficial for exam times and other stressful situations. The youth of today more than ever require the opportunity to relax and focus inward, while building the strength and flexibility they need to grow and develop fully.

Taught by Sacha Bryce, classes are designed for kids/youth from 9-12/13 years old.
Hatha , Level 1 & 2
This class is a great way to strengthen your body and brain! It is a moderately challenging class that explores a wide spectrum of yoga postures with an emphasis on the therapeutic value of the postures.
You will feel an increased vitality of the body, a calm and lucid mind. Feel grounded and more connected to yourself and others. Other benefits include; a greater kinesthetic (tactile learning) and cognitive awareness, improved bone and muscle strength, better balance and agility, connection to community and lightness of the heart! You can expect a slow to moderately paced class that gently flows with breath awareness and weaves a mindful-body approach. Expect plenty of doable challenges and lots of laughter together!
Vicki's skill is in teaching modern postural alignment that integrates evidence based psychological and bio-mechanical research together with the wisdom teachings of yoga and Buddhism.
Classes are Sunday's 9:15-10:30 am and Thursday's 7:30-8:45 am starting September 27th.
Taught by Vicki Tarrant, this is a Level 1-2 class, suitable for an experienced beginner or intermediate level.
Intentional Yoga: Journey through movement
Discover or re-discover your relationship with a yoga and movement practice. Each week come and play, explore and develop a deeply intentional approach to specific postures and movement patterns. Safely and mindfully develop your physical strength, explore beyond habitual patterns, and improve the flexibility of your mind with attention to conscious muscle activation and alignment. Dig deep into familiar poses, adjust to settle in with strength and breath then find new possibilities from within. This class is Hatha based, with a sprinkling of Pilates, targeted strengthening and movement therapy to help you find new territory in your body.
Class is from 10:45-11:45 Saturday morning, starts Saturday, September 15th.
Taught by Toni Blay, this class is appropriate for all fitness levels, modifications will be given to those new to the yoga and movement journey.
Learn the tradition of Iyengar yoga with one of Toronto's few highly trained Iyengar yoga teachers, Cindy Campbell. Internationally respected for a sophisticated understanding of physical movement, the Iyengar approach (named after BKS Iyengar who developed this system) to Hatha yoga helps practitioners combine mobility, stability, strength and alignment through precise attention to the body and the breath. Taught in a workshop style, the method is therapeutic, orderly, and progressive, and the postures are adaptable to meet individualized needs.
Classes are Tuesday's from 5:00-6:15 pm and Friday's from 10:30-11:45 am.
Taught by Cindy Campbell, this class is suitable for all levels, including those recovering from injury or certain limitations.
These classes are donation-based, pay what you can.* All proceeds go to St. Aidan's in the Beach Out of the Cold Program, which provides assistance and shelter for those in need.

We will be doing slow flow vinyasa yoga classes. Mobilize, move slowly, and explore seated variations of poses.

Taught by Steven White, this class is suitable for all levels.
Mindful Body is a deeply focused alignment-based Hatha class, inspired by the Iyengar tradition. Here we learn through practice to fill every corner of the body with the strength of the mind's awareness and intention. The class is especially valuable for those healing physical injuries, or seeking greater mental and emotional wellness and stability.
Taught by Sheila Gill this class is suitable for all levels.
Mobility and Strength Yoga
Yoga Mobility and Strength is a yoga class led and designed by Lisa to help students become stronger and safer on the mat and beyond. Whether you are relatively new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this class will help you build strength to help support joint stability, posture and healthy movement patterns. It will also focus on a variety of sequences and poses that can help to bring balance to a body that is used to a more traditional yoga practice as a way of reducing the incidence of common yoga-related injuries. Expect a challenging 60 minutes of movement exploration, with plenty of encouragement to work with where you are at.
Class is Friday from 9:15-10:15 am.

Join us on an explorative journey through yoga. This is a Hatha based yoga class where you will learn to practice mindfully and with respect for your own body. This class is built on a sequence of yoga postures (asanas), and conscious breathing (pranayama) combined with mental focus. Safely and gently develop your physical strength and flexibility with attention to posture, proper muscle activation and alignment. Let go of competition, judgement and expectations and build a yoga practice that is just right for you. Start your day feeling refreshed, energized and peaceful. Appropriate for all fitness levels, modifications will be given to those new to the yoga journey.

What is Stand up Paddle Board Yoga? Exactly what it sounds like. Yoga on a paddle board. While Stand up Paddle (SUP) Boarding has been around for years, Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga has only recently come into its own, and offers an exciting and challenging mix of paddle board and yoga – the perfect opportunity to bring the summertime in! The intention is that each pose will be more challenging on a SUP board than on traditional mats. Balance, focus and core strength take centre stage. And there is still a Savasana at the end to bring all that work into a space that your body and mind can absorb and appreciate. All levels are welcome. Thursday morning classes are weekly. Sundays classes are offered in a more progressive series format.

TRX Suspension System
The TRX Suspension Trainer leverages gravity and your body weight to perform hundreds of exercises. You control how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - because you simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance. TRX sculpts, strengthens your core and builds strenght and flexibility. TRX is an excellent class for building a strong foundation for yoga postures. Melissa will offer you a class that is challenging with great core work filled with a touch of good humour and fun! You will leave this class feeling strong and exhilarated!
This class is on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 6:30-7:15 pm.
Taught by Melissa Linton, this class is suitable for all levels. Instruction to use the equipment will be provided if you are new to this dynamic, strength building class.
Vinyasa - Dynamic
Vinyasa Flow classes are strong, alignment-based fluid offerings which challenge students to build strength and stability through functional movement patterns. The class is not fast-paced, but it is vigorous, and students can expect to be challenged to build strength through creative approaches to familiar postures.
There is less focus on passive stretching and flexibility and more on dynamic stretching and muscle integrity. This class is suitable for students who have already established a regular yoga practice and are looking to investigate how to deepen their practices on a physical level.
Class is Tuesday morning from 9:15-10:15 am.
Taught by Kate Graham, this class is for experienced beginners or intermediate level.
Vinyasa - Flow
Reconnect, re-energize, and breathe! With an emphasis on awareness of the breath, focused attention on the sensations in the body, movement and well-aligned postures, these classes build strength, flexibility and balance. This is a strong flow class and will get your adrenaline pumping. Explore taking postures to a deeper level. Finish with peaceful Savasana and you have a perfect morning practice!
Class is Saturday morning from 9:15-10:30 am.
Taught by Esther Szabo, the Vinyasa flow classes are suitable for more experienced beginners and intermediate levels, although poses can be adapted if required.
Vinyasa - Sweet Flow
An all-levels class, Sweet Vinyasa Flow links mindful breath to well-aligned movement, creating energizing flows and varied sequences. Combining thoughtful intention setting and a chill coffee house playlist, this class takes you on a journey of learning to trust your own body's wisdom. A mindful end and restful Savasana finish this fabulous class.

Create new space in the body & relax your mind. Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga we offer at the studio. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. These classes are slow pace, relaxing and are a perfect way to end the day. All levels welcome, our yin yoga/restorative classes are taught at room temperature. Join us for relaxing movement and opening, along with mantra & meditation. Yoga Instruction and Private Fitness
Private, personalized yoga and fitness instruction help students gain confidence, receive guidance, and focus on their personal goals. Instruction is tailored to the individual’s health, level, lifestyle and schedule.
Rates vary based on seniority of teacher, length of sessions, in studio and in home lessons. Sessions may be 30, 60 or 90 minutes in length and semi-private lessons are also available.
Yoga Nidra is a special relaxation technique which has a deep effect on the body, the energies and the mind. It is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. Deeper muscular tension is released, the immune system is strengthened, the quality of sleep improved – and it lowers the level of stress. You are guided slowly through the meditation and relaxation technique. Yoga Nidra is known to assist with stress, anxiety, tension and post traumatic stress disorder in addition to promoting overall relaxation and mindfulness. It is accessible to all levels. No prior experience is needed, and all physical skills and abilities can participate.
