This cross-training class would focus mainly on strengthening the body and practicing mindfulness.

The first part of the class will be TRX which is a suspension system that uses a person's own body weight to build lean muscle and core strength which compliments sports and all kinds of physical activities. It removes the hazards of lifting free weights that can have negative impacts on young bodies still developing.

The latter half of the class will focus on yoga, flexibility training and mindfulness fused with breath work to encourage and practice healthy breathing habits to support focus and managing emotions, particularly when under pressure.

Mindfulness training is a life skill that invites strong, sound decision making skills, improves concentration and performance, assists dealing with stress and pressures of everyday life.
