Mommy Connections


PŪR is hosting and sponsoring Mommy Connections (Toronto East) Tuesdays at 1 – 2:30 pm! (Starting March 20)

At the heart of it, Mommy Connections wants to connect you with other mothers who are in the exact same baby stage as you are. In other words when you experience the dreaded three-month sleep regression or your baby is teething you will be met with sage words of wisdom and compassionate ears.

Mommy Connection’s goal with every class is for you to walk away at the end of the session feeling confident about the services available to you in your community. They hand select professionals to present in each class – you will learn everything from how to treat your pelvic floor to the types of books you should be reading to baby.

Together you will celebrate Motherhood and chuckle about the hilarity that ensues in your trying first year.

Pop-up Mondays @ pUr Yoga toronto

Variety is the spice of life right? Join us for one of these exciting nights as we'll be hosting "pop-up" classes regularly on Monday nights to offer the space to new teachers, new types of classes, new musicians and a variety of other artists. We want to share the space with other community members, offer you, our students, some variety and to infuse your week with a little something different. Be sure to watch this space for upcoming dates and pop-up's classes that we'll be hosting.

Indoor Stand-up Paddleboard Yoga

Our indoor version of SUP Yoga! 

Join us for Yoga on our Indo Balance Boards. Starts March 2018.

Take your yoga practice to a new level and develop your core power and full body balance and stability with Yoga/Pilates training on a Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP). Indo Balance Board training is similar to the increasingly popular practice of SUP Yoga or Paddle Board yoga – without the need for water, a paddle board or perfect weather!  With many options for practice, including varying levels of instability (with the use of indo flow cushions), anyone can enjoy this practice and feel successful. Appropriate for all levels of yogis, beginner to advanced. Stay tuned for our upcoming series' in March.

Beginners Yoga - Part One

New to Yoga? Or maybe you've been practicing for a while and want to gain a deeper understanding of what you're practising. This yoga series progresses from week to week to build a solid understanding and develop a strong foundation in yoga. In a small group setting, learn and practise classical hatha yoga and understand the benefits of each pose. Learn how yoga can bring more peace and joy to support the other areas of your life. The class runs in a 6 week series so please check PŪR YOGA’s schedule for more information.

When: Sundays, 12:15-1:30 pm, starting April 8th 2018

Beginners Yoga - Part Two

This series is for those who have practised yoga previously who may wish to dive deeper into their practice or for those who have completed Beginner Part I.

Dive deeper into your yoga postures, breathing techniques, strenghtening, relaxation, and meditation .
Practice in a small group setting.  

This series can be taken multiple times.

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is a special relaxation technique which has a deep effect on the body, the energies and the mind. It is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness. Deeper muscular tension is released, the immune system is strengthened, the quality of sleep improved – and it lowers the level of stress. You are guided slowly through the meditation and relaxation technique. Yoga Nidra is known to assist with stress, anxiety, tension and post traumatic stress disorder in addition to promoting overall relaxation and mindfulness. It is accessible to all levels. No prior experience is needed, and all physical skills and abilities can participate.

When: Sundays, 3:15pm-4:15 pm, starting February 25th 2018
