We offer a variety of classes for beginner yogis to those more advanced. From Restorative to Vinyasa to Iyengar and more, our goal is to provide a welcoming environment to help you expand your practice
and discover the many approaches to yoga.
ALL LEVELS: Suitable for everyone including beginners and options will be provided.
Level 2: Some yoga experience is beneficial. Class will offer a higher level of complexity in movement and flow. Options will be provided.
With the aid of soft music, candlelight, bolsters, and blankets this practice guides you to slow down, quiet your mind and reconnect with your body and breath. Melting into deep relaxation with the use of props your body will relax slowly and naturally without effort leaving you refreshed and balanced. Restorative Yoga is Yoga for relaxation and recovery, it calms our nervous system, reduces stress and improves mental clarity. A must for all Yoga students at ALL LEVELS.

Hatha based practices are a wonderful way to build strength, muscle tone and flexibility through longer held postures. The pace is slowed down while we work through a variety of different Yoga poses including standing, seated, prone and supine. Emphasis is placed on the breath as we build our connection to the poses, the practice and ultimately our self.

Learn the tradition of Iyengar yoga with one of Toronto's few highly trained Iyengar yoga teachers, Cindy Campbell. Internationally respected for a sophisticated understanding of physical movement, the Iyengar approach (named after BKS Iyengar who developed this system) to Hatha yoga helps practitioners combine mobility, stability, strength and alignment through precise attention to the body and the breath. Taught in a workshop style, the method is therapeutic, orderly, and progressive, and the postures are adaptable to meet individualized needs. ALL LEVELS.
Tuesdays 5:00-6:15pm + Fridays 10:30-11:45am with Cindy
Vinyasa Yoga is a flowing practice that links postures together. Emphasis is placed on connecting breath to movement as we increase strength and flexibility throughout class. Class both begins and ends with time for stillness, reflection and meditation while in between we work to build up the sweat. Vinyasa yoga is a well-rounded class that will challenge you physically while calming and clearing your mind. Options are provided throughout class, perfect for ALL LEVELS.

Unique to PŪR
This practice will introduce you to all of the benefits of yoga (increases flexibility, strength, improved posture, balance, etc) without having to get down to the floor. We will use the chair to sit, stand, move, flow and relax in this gentle, but effective practice. We will end with a relaxing meditation. No experience necessary, but must be able to stand. Please bring a mat.
Thursdays 10:30-11:30am with Lauren
Mindful Body is a deeply focused alignment-based Hatha class, inspired by the Iyengar tradition. Here we learn through practice to fill every corner of the body with the strength of the mind's awareness and intention. The class is especially valuable for those healing physical injuries or seeking greater mental and emotional wellness and stability. ALL LEVELS

Intentional Yoga: A Journey Through Movement
Discover or re-discover your relationship with a yoga and movement practice. Each week come and play, explore and develop a deeply intentional approach to specific postures and movement patterns. Safely and mindfully develop your physical strength, explore beyond habitual patterns, and improve the flexibility of your mind with attention to conscious muscle activation and alignment. Dig deep into familiar poses, adjust to settle in with strength and breath then find new possibilities from within. This class is Hatha based, with a sprinkling of Pilates, targeted strengthening and movement therapy to help you find new territory in your body. Appropriate for all fitness levels, modifications will be given to those new to the yoga and movement journey. ALL LEVELS.
Saturdays 10:45-11:45am with Toni
This class offers a dynamic vinyasa sequence where you are inspired to flow through a breath-focused practice, as you creatively explore movement in postures and their transitions. Restorative postures are used at the beginning and end of the sequence to experience all there is to learn in dynamic stillness. This class invites energy and ease into the body as you move into stillness, balancing intelligent alignment, flow, strength and flexibility, with deeply healing and restful restorative postures. With a carefully choreographed playlist, gentle hands on assists and use of essential oils, this class is all about feeling good and letting go. ALL LEVELS.
Wednesdays 7:45-9:00pm with Jessica
Yin Yang Flow
This class follows our energy patterns, allowing us to release the excess while preserving and nurturing where we feel depleted. Combining Dynamic flows (yang) with quiet holds and restoring postures (yin). So often we come to our mat tired but start moving and realize we have more energy than we thought. Sometimes we come feeling as though we have tons of energy only to realize we are exhausted. Yin and Yang, light and dark, energetic and calm these are the polarities we will move through in our class together, leaving you feeling balanced and ready to close your day. ALL LEVELS.

Yoga Mobility and Strength
Yoga Mobility and Strength helps students become stronger and safer on the mat and beyond. Whether you are relatively new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, this class will help you build strength to help support joint stability, posture and healthy movement patterns. It also focuses on a variety of sequences and poses that can help bring balance to a body that is used to a more traditional yoga practice as a way of reducing the incidence of common yoga-related injuries. Expect a challenging 60 minutes of movement exploration with plenty of encouragement to work with where you are at. ALL LEVELS.

Private yoga sessions provide personalized instruction and teachings just for YOU! Based on your health, fitness ability and goals for practice. Gain confidence, improve mental health and mindfulness skills in addition to becoming stronger and more mobile. Great for beginners to Yoga to the most advanced practitioner.
Our PŪR Teachers have a wide variety of knowledge to assist you on your path using Yoga to: build strength, reduce stress, improve sleep, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression, healing from emotional or physical trauma, reduce symptoms of PTSD, assist with arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis or chronic pain, assist pre or post-surgery, addiction recovery and more.
Rates vary based on seniority of teacher, length of sessions, in studio and in home lessons. Sessions may be 30, 60 or 90 minutes in length and semi-private lessons are also available.
